BIOGRAPHY

Eva-Maddalena Fleszar is a Swiss concert violinist whose artistic work encompasses solo repertoire, chamber music, and collaborative projects. She performs regularly in concerts in Switzerland and abroad and is active in a wide range of artistic contexts. She received important artistic impulses from Lihay Bendayan, Shlomo Mintz, and Hrachya Harutyunyan, whose teaching profoundly shaped her musical development. Alongside her main studies, she studied Baroque violin as a secondary subject, contributing to a broad musical perspective. Her solo and chamber music activities have been recognised through various projects and performances, including prize distinctions at the international Marcello Pontillo Competition in Florence and the Étienne Vatelot – Rampal Competition in Cannes. In 2025, she appears on a recording released by Naxos (Musiques Suisses) featuring world premiere recordings of works by the Swiss composer Robert Oboussier. The recording was featured among the SRF Classical Highlights 2025 and discussed on Swiss national radio, drawing attention to the project within the classical music landscape. Together with pianist and organist Grzegorz Fleszar, she forms Duo Fleszar, focusing on chamber music for violin, piano, fortepiano, and organ, developing programmes that combine well-known repertoire with lesser-known works. She is also a member of the Kubus Kollektiv string quartet, dedicated to contemporary music and the development of new concert formats.
